Role in a nutshell

We are looking for a highly motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our HR team. You will be responsible for attracting, sourcing, and hiring top talent to meet the workforce needs of our company. You will collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies. You will be involved with writing job descriptions to submitting reports on the recruitment process. You should be well-versed in the full cycle recruitment, employment legislation and laws, health and benefits. With excellent communication and people skills, you make an impact on employer branding and create a positive setting for our applicants as well as the employees. This is a contract role for 6 months with the possibility of extension or full-time employment.

Scope of Duties

  • Developing and implementing recruitment plans and strategies.
  • Sourcing and attracting candidates through various channels, such as job boards, social media, and employee referrals.
  • Screening and interviewing candidates to determine their qualifications and fit for open positions.
  • Building relationships with hiring managers and other stakeholders to understand their talent needs.
  • Managing the hiring process, including offers, negotiations, and onboarding.
  • Ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Staying informed of industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
  • Build talent networks to find qualified active and passive candidates
  • Identify key recruiting KPIs
  • Plan and implement a Recruitment Marketing and Employer Branding strategy to attract high quality applicants
  • Adhere to laws, rules and personal data privacy regulations
  • Prepare a report on a weekly basis to show progress, areas of improvement and action items.

What You Offer

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience as Recruiting Coordinator, HR Generalist or relevant.
  • Degree in Human Resources and/or working towards CHRP
  • Ability to scan large volumes of resumes.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.

Schedule

  • 8 hours shift
  • Monday to Friday

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
